Education for

Youth

OHA routinely collaborates with school groups and other organizations to create natural history learning opportunities.

If you are a teacher or youth activities coordinator and would like to be considered for educational services, please contact us at the email address below.

Above: During their week of outdoor education at Lost Lake, these 6th grade students participated in one of OHA’s wetland workshops, which included songs about habitat, wetlands, and animal adaptations.

On the left: Students play a running game that demonstrates the role of habitat in supporting animal species. The game also depicts the natural ebb and flow of population demographics in the wild.

Restoration Projects

Students are also actively involved in OHA’s Triple Creek Restoration Project!
